Leaving the apartment
Sometimes we walk really close
Sometimes we walk far apart,
And sometimes Summer drags us along.
We had to drag mom up this hill.
Beautiful day!

Made it to the top!
So tired.
So our walk starts with a steep hill to get out of the complex and then back down the steep hill to get to the main road. I love living in this area because the roads are lined with sidewalks and the girls and I can usually walk about 2-3 miles. It's extremely hilly too which makes for a good butt workout! Haha.
lol "The good but workout". I moved from a similar location - I guess it won.

ReplyDeleteBraylon has this totally embarrassing habit of snapping at Hades' face if she sees another dog. They love each other immensely and she isn't super reactive but for some reason if they are next to each other and she sees a dog she has to snap in his face. It drives us nuts so unfortunately walking them means one person per dog.
Your girls look so well behaved as they walk together! I know they enjoyed the walk with you!

I am thinking about getting a single leash for both of the dogs like that. How do you like it? Schultz is a good boy and walks close to me so maybe he can hold back Tess the Incredible Leash Tugger :)
ReplyDeleteIt took a while for the girls to get comfortable with it but now it's the easiest thing! I prefer it because they are so good on it and it relieves some strain off me. We still have moments where one tries to go behind me and I get tripped up :)
DeleteP.S. I also think it has helped their relationship since they have to work together in way.
DeleteI need to try one out. They could really use some teamworking :) I get so wrapped up sometimes, usually by Tess, and I can just feel the people in the cars driving by laughing at me lol
